Woongarra Estate has a strong record of producing excellent quality, award winning Semillon/Sav blends, and 2010 was a particularly good year. This wine was made by Sergio Carlei. The Semillon and a percentage of the Sauvignon Blanc was fermented in barrels. A more complex wine which will benefit from some age in bottle. The clean fruit characteristics have been preserved in the nose yet it is more subtle with additional notes of honey characteristic of the Semillon addition. More weight and complexity in the palate and good finish.
