Three Wise Men Pinot Noir 2005 2005 was a great year for Pinot Noir in the region, with the weather conditions and our commitment to vineyard management allowing the grapes to achieve optimal physiological ripeness. Awarded 94 points by James Halliday this wine has benefited from several years of careful cellaring developing into a wine of real distinction which expresses the ‘terroir’ of Woongarra. The foresty characteristics have evolved making the nose really wonderfully earthy yet vibrant with notes of red fruits, good focus, intensity and length, the varietal flavour really makes this complex pinot. Drinking well now but with the potential to benefit from 3-4 years of further careful cellaring.
